Thousands of officers have trusted our unique blended e-learning package to provide an all-encompassing e-learning experience.
The package combines:
30 hours of video lectures (the equivalent of 8 days of face to face teaching); and
Over 1600 multiple choice questions.
Content can be streamed 24 hours a day via PC, Tablet or Smartphone.
For the best user experience we recommend using the “Google Chrome” web browser.
Our experts will be on hand at the click of a button to explain everything you need to know to pass the examination and you can test understanding as you progress.
The syllabus is broken down into manageable bite sized chunks to ease learning.
Each module is allocated an individual playlist of e-learning material which divides the subject matter into its individual headings.
Candidates work through each heading in turn – firstly gaining an understanding of the subject matter via a combination of text guidance and video lectures, followed by a series of multiple choice questions on that specific heading to test their understanding.
Candidates receive graded performance feedback as well as detailed debriefs in respect of each question attempted flagging up examination trip ups.
The playlists for each module also contain more in depth past paper statistical data on assessment trends than is available in our free study guidance materials – giving you a more detailed insight on the likely composition of your examination.
Candidates will also have the opportunity to design their own multiple choice question tests that can be configured on individual modules, whole areas of the syllabus or the entire syllabus and candidates can set the number of questions they attempt under timed conditions..
We recommend using our textbook in conjunction with the videos of our blended e-learning package to develop your knowledge base.
For each module read the chapter then view the corresponding videos.
After completing the knowledge gathering phase test your understanding via our multiple choice questions.
At the end of the study process consolidate your understanding by attending a 2 day course.

E-learning licences are delivered in 6 month blocks. Under normal circumstances, the 6 month duration is all that candidates require.
Due to the fact that the June 2020 NIE examination has already been postponed - we need to plan for the potential postponement of later sittings of the NIE examination as well.
THE CURRENT POSITION
The official position from the College of Policing is that the September 2020 and November 2020 NIE examinations are still on at present - but that all examinations are being kept under review. Please see the College of Policing's dedicated COVID 19 web page for updates.
OUR CONTINGENCY MEASURES FOR NEW PURCHASERS
We have therefore resolved that, in the event of any further postponments - we will roll over your licence at no extra cost where necessary, up to a maximum duration of 12 months from the date of purchase.
This should give new purchasers peace of mind that their licence will take them through to their examination even in the eventuality of further postponements.
DEFERRED JUNE SITTING 2020 CUSTOMERS - PREVIOUS PURCHASERS
NIE candidates who purchased their e-learning licence BEFORE the postponement of the June 2020 examination will NOT have to purchase a fresh e-learning licence at full value if their licence expires before the September 2020 sitting.
All affected customers will be notified directly via email of the special re-licence arrangements applicable to them.
